Create your account
Sign up for free with email and password, Google, Apple or a magic link, verify your email and set up your first business.
A free account gives you everything the generator does plus email sending, pay pages, card and bank payments, saved clients and items, estimates, credit notes, the API and the MCP server. It costs nothing, needs no card, and every invoicing feature is included on the Free plan.

Ways to sign up

| Apple | Sign in with Apple. If Apple gives us a private relay email address instead of your real one, we accept it as your account email. Sign in with Apple is available at launch if Apple approves our developer account in time, otherwise in the week of 11 January 2027. |
| Magic link | Enter your email and we send a sign-in link. Each link works once and expires after a short time. |
After you are in, you can add a passkey for fast sign-in with your device's fingerprint, face or PIN, and turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app. Both are optional. See Sign-in methods and Two-factor and passkeys.
A sign-in button only appears when that provider is set up on our side. If you do not see one, use another method; you can sign in the same way next time.

Go to app.freeinvoiceautomation.com/sign-up, or start from the generator if you already made invoices there.
Choose a method
Pick email and password, Google, Apple or a magic link and follow the prompts.
Your account is created
We create a new account on the Free plan with you as its Owner. The Owner holds every permission and is the only person who can delete the account or transfer ownership.
Add your first business
Onboarding asks for your first business: the legal name that goes on invoices, the country and the base currency. For businesses in Pakistan, India, the UK, the EU, the US and the UAE, the country pre-fills the currency and tax presets. You can change everything later in the business settings. See Businesses.
Verify your email
Open the verification link we email you. You can use the app before you verify, but sending documents through our platform mailer needs a verified address.
Verify your email
We send a verification link to your email address when you sign up. Until you click it:
- you can create businesses, clients and documents, download PDFs and copy pay links;
- sending email through the platform mailer is refused with "verify your email first" (error
email_not_verified).
Sending through your own SMTP mailbox is not affected. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder and ask for a new link from the app. See Platform email.
If you used the generator first
If you made invoices in the free invoice generator on this browser, they move into your account after you sign up. Your browser uploads them once into your first business, then clears its own copy. Signing in again on the same browser does not upload them a second time. Generator documents on another device or browser stay there until you sign in from that browser too.
One login, many accounts
Your login is personal; accounts are shared spaces.
- If someone invites you to their account, you join it as a member with the role they chose, using the same login. You do not need a second sign-up.
- You can be the Owner of your own account and a member of other accounts at the same time.
- The switcher at the top of the app lists every account and business you can reach. What you can do always depends on the account you are viewing.
- Being deactivated in one account does not affect your other accounts or your own.
Staying safe
- Sessions are kept on our servers and use secure cookies.
- Wrong passwords: after too many wrong attempts the account is locked for a while and further attempts are slowed down.
- Forgotten password: ask for a reset and we email a single-use reset link.
- Fresh sign-in: sensitive actions ask you to sign in again if your session is not recent. These include connecting a payment method such as Stripe, deleting a business, changing billing, adding a billing card, buying a credit pack, creating an
auto_sendAPI key and deleting the account. If an API call needs this, it returnsfresh_signin_required.

What the Free plan includes
Every invoicing feature, unlimited businesses, the API, MCP server and connectors, and 20 platform emails a month (unlimited with your own SMTP). The account has the Owner plus one free view-only Accountant. In your first month after sign-up you can unlock 250 AI credits by adding a card that is verified for $0 and never charged.
